Contacting the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation
Due to the type of cases, namely narcotics cases involving individuals with a violent criminal past, the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation operates out of a non-disclosed location in order to protect the MBI Agents.
On occassion, local media outlets publish MBI's physical address; however, it would be appreciated by MBI Agents and their family members if media outlets would refrain from this practice. Disclosure of the MBI Office location could put law enforcement officers and their family members in harms way and may expose media outlets to civil liablity should a violent act occur.
