HORROR Stories - MBI Stimied

Civil Internal Revenue Service will not "Do The Right Thing"

MBI routinely works with the Criminal Division of the Internal Revenue Service and this division is always productive in law enforcement investigations. However, a horror story occurred when working with the Civil Division of the Internal Revenue Service. This division failed to honor a written agreement which would have disbursed seized funds back to Central Florida. MBI launched an appeal to the Civil Internal Revenue Service Tax Advocate but the appeal was denied. Click on the link to read the correspondence to the IRS.

It's True: "What Happens in Vegas - Stays in Vegas"

MBI investigated a drug King-Pin, Jorge Farah, who traveled to and from Las Vegas, Nevada, on a regular basis, to enjoy money derived by trafficking in narcotics and laundering the money through casinos. The investigation hit a dead end in Las Vegas after the Las Vegas Gaming Board refused to investigate the Casino Industry.

Correspondence to the Las Vegas Gaming Board dated January 5, 2007 to Chief Markling of the Las Vegas Gaming Board. Suspiciously, MBI never received a response to this letter.
